If Canada was to become the 51st state, it would immediately obtain two American senators, who, given the way in which the Canadians feel of Trump, could give the Democrats the Senate.

Donald Trump again claims that Canada is “a good candidate for the 51st state” at the pricing press conference
President Donald Trump repeated his thrust to push Canada economically to become the 51st state during the SIS press conference announced at 25% of prices.
I have a special message, a humble request, really, for our Canadian brothers and sisters, in particular our beloved “snowbirds” who are quite friendly and generous enough to pass their winters in the desert paradise that we call here.
My request is: please, nest here, permanently.
Or, if those of you who visit for a few months come back in the Far North White, I urge you to convince your compatriots of Canucks to follow the desire of President Donald Trump make Canada the 51st state.
Because if you do this, Trump … is … finished.
Do.
Of course, he will always be president. But he would not be able to do many things, and his Maga sycophants would probably be crushed in all future elections.
Instead of “dividing and conquering”, a chance to join and conquer
First, because with all his insults, his condescending attitude, his prices, and even more, Trump made only alienated Canadians.
And the insults continue to come.
For those of you wintering here in Arizona, for example, a new rule which should take effect on April 11 from the Trump’s domestic security department says that those of you visit for more than 30 days must register with the authorities and fingerprint.
Seems badly bad, isn’t it?
Do you remember the old adage that goes, “divide and conquer”, a strategy to defeat an enemy who would return to the ancient Babylonians?
Well, in this case, Canada’s victory would be carried out by doing the opposite. Join and conquer.
Mathematics give Canada the opportunity to tip all future elections
Many analysts and information operations did the calculation (which seems to have been a subject that neither Trump nor any of those who work for him have taken very seriously in school.)
If Canada was to become the 51st state, it would immediately obtain two American senators, who, given the way in which the Canadians feel of Trump, could give the Democrats the Senate.
And, on the basis of its population (larger than that of California), Canada would probably be allocated around 45 seats to the House of Representatives. After which the Americans could start to call Canada “Big Blue” because the house control was also going to return.
Then there are the 47 electoral votes that Canada would receive.
How lucky does a future presidential candidate Maga have against this?
Some time ago, at a time when Trump spoke for the first time that Canada became the 51st state, and Canadians thought about it as a joke than an existential threat, I read a article describing the global political composition of Canada and the possible implications it could have if it joined the United States.
This particular article had a line that said: “Trump and his republican party would certainly not like the answer: the GOP could Never win a national election again. “”
O Canada – If you are tired of everything that is Trump and want to stick it in the worst possible way, then go and lend a helping hand to your old uncle Sam.
Eh?
