A director of the bankrupt health care company Americore testified before Congress that James Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, received a $600,000 loan from the company that was never repaid. James Biden was hired on the promise that his last name “Biden” could “open doors” and attract significant investment from the Middle East based on his political connections. This never happened. Americore did not complete any paperwork for the loan. In March 2018, Americore transferred $200,000 to James Biden into his personal account. The same day, he wrote a personal check to Joe Biden from the same account. Americore sued James Biden for the $600,000, but only received a $350,000 settlement. I believe that Joe Biden, then a two-term vice president and a U.S. senator for several decades, tolerated these corrupt influence peddling deals made by his brother and son Hunter, and profited financially from them. The presented explanation of paying off the family loans to Joe conceals the payments.
