Former American president Barack Obama worked against former vice-president Kamala Harris after President Joe Biden abandoned the 2024 presidential elections, the authors Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes said in their new book.

In a Interview with MSNBCAllen, a main political journalist from NBC News, said Obama said Kamala Harris would not win against Donald Trump.
“President Obama absolutely did not think that Joe Biden should continue, according to our sources close to President Obama,” Allen told MSNBC. “And he didn’t want Kamala Harris either to replace Biden. He didn’t think she was the best choice for Democrats.”
He said Obama worked behind the scenes, pleading for an open primary, because he did not trust Kamala Harris’ ability to defeat Donald Trump.

American presidential election
Joe Biden, 82, abandoned the American presidential race last year after being criticized by his own party, following a televised debate Calamite against Trump in which he seemed unable to plead in case of cases for another mandate.
US vice-president Kamala Harris obtained the appointment but finally lost the elections against Trump, 78, who organized one of the most remarkable returns in American political history.
