Joe Biden’s family wears a shoulder at the White House state dinner

Family members of President Joe Biden and first lady Dr. Jill Biden attended the ceremony. state dinner at the White House for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko Kishida on Wednesday in Washington, D.C. The couple’s daughter, Ashely Biden, and two granddaughters, Finnegan Biden and Naomi Biden, joined the high-profile group of attendees.

For the formal occasion, all three women dressed elegantly Dresses, each one as unique as the last. Ashley, the daughter of President Biden and First Lady Dr. Biden, wore a dress by Reem Acra, which featured a sheer bodice and long sleeves with intricate gold detailing. The skirt of the dress was a sleek black fabric. Ashley was joined by her niece, Finnegan, who wore a youthful scarlet dress with straps draped over the shoulders and a high slit. She paired the look with taupe colored heeled sandals.

As for Naomi Biden, Biden’s eldest granddaughter wore a flowing dress by Bernadette. The dress featured a soft pink hue as a backdrop for a pattern of red and white flowers extending from the branches. The dress also featured a cape element, which billowed out when Naomi arrived at the event.

All three Biden women wore Dresses which complemented their style and respected the atmosphere of the occasion. The tone of the event was set by the first lady. Dr. Biden wore a shimmering Oscar de la Renta gown with Art Nouveau ombré sapphire crystal embroidery. The dress is from the fashion brand’s fall 2024 collection. Other notable highlights included Hillary Clinton in a flowing kaftan And Lauren Sánchez in a sensual burgundy Rasario dress from the 2024 resort collection.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s state dinner for Japan is the fifth the couple has hosted at the White House since President Biden took office in January 2021. The event included a large number high-profile guests including Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen, Bill and Hillary Clinton and more.
