FIRST ON FOX: Ashley Biden, That of President Biden daughter, owes $5,000 in income taxes as of 2015, according to a recent tax lien filing first obtained by Fox News Digital.
Liens are legal claims placed by the government on property or assets to secure unpaid taxes after repeated collection attempts.
On December 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Philadelphia County informed Biden that “the amount of such unpaid taxes, interest, additions or penalties constitutes a lien in favor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the taxpayer’s property – actual , personal or both. – as applicable,” according to the notice.
The start date of the period listed on the privilege begins on January 1, 2015 – when Joe Biden was vice president in the Obama administration – and ends on January 1, 2021, a few days before he is sworn in as president.

Ashley Biden and her attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
“The scale has nothing to do with Hunter, but…Joe constantly talks about how rich and connected people don’t pay their fair share and can afford to pay more, and it turns out that his two living children don’t ‘haven’t paid their taxes.’” Garrett Ziegler, founder of the nonprofit Marco Polo and a former aide to President Trump, told Fox News Digital in an interview Friday.
“This is just another example of the Bidens’ negligence,” he said. “You’d think they’d be a little more careful when you’re America’s first family to make sure they don’t have tax liens on you, especially going into an election year.”
Ziegler founded the website BidenLaptopMedia.com, which contains nearly 10,000 photos of Hunter’s infamous laptop between 2008 and 2019. Ziegler said his team discovered Ashley’s privilege during a routine search in the Philadelphia County Courthouse System.
When Ziegler released the laptop results, he told Fox Digital at the time: “We are not Republican activists“.

Born on June 8, 1981, Ashley Biden is the youngest child of Joe Biden and the only child of Jill Biden. Ashley has primarily focused on social work, activism, and philanthropy throughout her career. She works for the Delaware Center for Justice, focusing on criminal justice reform, according to her Linkedin.
Ashley worked as a social worker at Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families from 2007 to 2012. She received her master’s degree in social work from the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
In 2017, while working at the Delaware Center for Justice — a criminal justice reform nonprofit — she launched a charitable fashion brand Livelihood. In 2019, she left her job at the Delaware Center for Justice to help her father’s presidential campaign.
In March, she reportedly applied for a doctorate in clinical social work at the University of Pennsylvania to study the neurobiology of trauma and was considering developing her own program.
Last summer, two Florida Residents pleaded guilty in New York federal court to stealing Ashley’s diary and other property and selling them to the conservative watchdog group Project Veritas during the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election.
