President Joe Biden and his family invaded downtown Nantucket Friday for a meal and shopping as the United States awaits the release of its hostages. Gaza.

The president then went to Craftmasters of Nantucket, a store where Hunter was spotted Wednesday, where the first son purchased a pair of slippers — potentially a gift for the president as the family celebrated his 81st birthday that day .
Hunter was out Friday with his wife Melissa Cohen.
They held hands while the first son carried a Brotherhood of Thieves hoodie with him as they walked the streets of Nantucket.
Hunter’s daughters from his first marriage, Maisy, Finnegan and Naomi, were also in attendance, as was Naomi’s husband of one year, Peter Neal.

Several children tried to stick their hands out of a nearby window, but Secret Service agents advised them to close it.
But their approach was rewarded once they got off, as the president posed for a photo with them, asking Hunter to take the photo.
After the shopping excursion, the family met at Nantucket’s annual Christmas tree lighting.
This year, amid heightened tensions over the war between Israel and Hamas, a group of protesters displayed banners and started yelling at the president after the tree lights were turned on.
“Biden, Biden, you can’t hide. We accuse you of genocide,” they chanted.
