Nizamābād: With the conclusion of the Telangana Legislative Assembly polls, the contesting candidates are now busy analyzing the polling percentage and other trends in their respective constituencies in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts.
The major political parties – Congress, BRS and BJP – are hoping to win the elections.
The contesting candidates are focusing on voting patterns among minorities and sizable communities in Nizamabad Urban, Kamareddy and Bodhan towns. There are significant voters of Andhra origin in Banswada and Bodhan constituencies and their support is a hot topic in political circles.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, senior Congress leaders, on condition of anonymity, said they were not only analyzing poll trends but were also busy settling scores.
“We hired tents, hotels, bars and flexible stores for the election campaign by paying an advance. Now we are settling all the dues,” he explained.
