The investigation into the Bidens’ businesses intensifies in the House as Republicans continue to look into the family’s ‘very concerning’ patterns.
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., Chairman of the House Oversight Committee who is leading the investigation into the first family, revealed the alleged findings surfacing in the investigation during his appearance on “Mornings with Maria” on Tuesday.
“I think we established a pattern, a pattern that Joe Biden communicated with every person who transferred millions of dollars to his family. We discovered a pattern that they were selling the brand,” Comer said.
“It is not possible to buy companies when the media says that Hunter Biden and Jim Biden owned an energy company, they didn’t. They had a system of influence peddling. That’s all it is,” he said.
On Friday, Biden announced that the United States would impose more than 500 new sanctions on Russia following President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. However, it has since been revealed that two Russian oligarchs linked to Hunter Biden were spared from the president’s decision, Elena Baturina and Vladimir Yevtushenkov.
In August, the committee provided screenshots of bank statements showing, it said, that Baturina, the widow of former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, wired $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton on August 14. February 2014. Hunter Biden’s longtime business partner Devon Archerconfirmed the payment during his interview.
“It (the sanctions) looks like a political decision made by Joe Biden in exchange for millions of dollars his family received from an adversary,” Comer said.
The Republican representative from Kentucky went on to call the act “very concerning,” pointing to the “strong evidence that the Bidens took millions of dollars from a shady figure in Russia” and, as a result, failed to impose sanctions on “this particular Russian oligarch.”
Comer said the Bidens have “not said a single thing they did to receive this money,” as the committee continues to find “new accounts from Joe Biden every day.”
“At the end of the day, we know that the Bidens took, you know, over $20 million from our adversaries around the world,” he said.
The leader of parliamentary oversight continued to analyze the findings of the investigation further, suggesting that the Biden family “was being paid to help China,” the country’s biggest adversary.
“I’ve never seen such hypocrisy in politics,” Comer said.
HUNTER BIDEN PAID JOE BIDEN FROM AN ACCOUNT FOR A COMPANY THAT RECEIVED PAYMENTS FROM CHINA: COMER
“What the Bidens are trying to say to please their left-liberal base and what they were trying to do in the private sector to take advantage of the Chinese Communist Party is daylight and darkness,” a- he declared.
One of the things Americans “need to understand” about the China deal, Comer added, is that China “was going to pay the Bidens.”
“They paid millions of dollars to Hunter Biden. They expected Joe Biden to own 10%, implement the Belt and Road Initiative in the United States, “He’ll take over American energy, he’ll take over American manufacturing, he’ll buy American farmland,” he said. said. “That’s what we’re trying to stop China from doing to the United States.”
As the committee continues to examine the Biden family’s business deals, Comer said the intelligence community has been a “major and consistent player in the cover-up of Biden’s crimes.”
The Kentucky GOP representative expressed frustration at the accountability the Bidens appear to be evading, telling Bartiromo he has “no confidence” in the country’s intelligence community.
“What we found in this investigation over the last seven or eight years, the Biden family has been investigated by the FBI, the DOJ, the IRS, the Securities and Exchange Commission. The list “There is a long, long history of government agencies that have investigated this case. family for fraud, for financial crimes,” he said.
“All I’m trying to do is get the truth to the American people,” he said.
“I believe the American people deserve the truth, and the truth has not been given to them by the mainstream media or by our government agencies.”
