New York – In the political terrain of the 21st century, few political figures have captured the public’s attention like President Donald J. Trump. He is globally praised for his bold leadership, and at home, he is seen as a beacon of hope for Americans who are deeply concerned about the country. His leadership qualities, often characterized by boldness, and a focus on national interests, have earned him admiration. His bold and clear-cut stance for his country is what makes him stand out among his competitors.
This is an element that I believe every political leader must have. Because of his sincere concern for his people, I believe that America will soon be greater, stronger, and far more exceptional than ever before as he promised in his presidential speech on 20 January 2025.During his inauguration speech, he declared, “From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. Every single day of my administration, I will, very simply, put America first. I believe every nation in today’s competitive world needs a leader like him, whose sole interest is to make his home country a safe zone for its citizens.
He has placed great emphasis on national security, which is a key element of his deep concern for both the country and its people. One of his major promises was to strengthen border security, aiming to reduce illegal mass migration that poses potential threats to America’s safety. By implementing more stringent immigration policies and investing in border enforcement, he sought to alleviate the risks associated with unchecked immigration, ultimately working to protect American citizens and preserve the integrity of the nation’s borders.
It remains to be seen how his administration will fulfill its promise of removing the 12 million refugees living in America, as it would require approximately 960 billion dollars to address this critical issue. However, considering the speed and dedication his administration is demonstrating on this grave concern, it is likely that they will achieve their promised goals within his four-year tenure.
For instance, Michael Banks, the newly appointed Border Patrol Chief under the Trump administration, tweeted, “In the past seven days, U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 4,577 individuals attempting to enter the country illegally, a significant 55% decrease from the previous week’s 10,281 apprehensions”. If the administration can achieve such results in just seven days, the time is not far when America will become greater, stronger, and more exceptional than ever before—a truly safe and free country, just as President Trump stated in his inaugural speech on January 20, 2025.As a resident of a war-torn country like Pakistan, I understand the potential threats posed by illegal mass migration. In this regard, I appreciate President Trump’s stance on strict border security. His approach to protecting national borders resonates with concerns about maintaining safety and sovereignty.
The Republican Party leader began his speech with a strong appeal to global business leaders, urging them to relocate their industries to the United States. He highlighted plans to cut corporate taxes and lower interest rates, aiming to foster a business-friendly environment. “My administration has also launched the largest deregulation campaign in history, surpassing even the record efforts of my previous term,” Trump stated. He presented a trickle-down vision of prosperity, suggesting that America’s economic success would ultimately benefit the entire world.
Another captivating aspect of his charismatic personality is his war-ending policy. He has become a beacon of hope for those suffering due to the actions of powerful, wealthy leaders. One of his supporters stated in an interview that even if there were only a one-percent chance that the former president would push for a ceasefire in Gaza, he would still be a better option than the Democrats, who had failed to stop the war. This trust in the Trump administration is his victory. Although it remains to be seen when the war will end completely, a ceasefire was announced one day before he took his oath in the White House.
During times of crisis, he has emerged as the only figure people can trust, fulfilling the promise he made in his first inaugural address. In that speech, President Donald Trump stated that the “proudest legacy” of his presidency would be that of a “peacemaker and unifier”. We will measure our success not only by the battles we win but also by the wars that we end,” he said. He also referenced the release of the first Israeli captives from Gaza as part of a ceasefire, which was strategically timed to give him an early political victory. It reflects his true aspiration for more peaceful and friendly international relations. This step further enhances his potential to revolutionize the American political landscape, impacting not only domestic politics but also global affairs. His approach to border security and national sovereignty could set a new precedent, reshaping how nations address similar issues on the world stage.
Hence, Trump’s leadership qualities are a blend of boldness, resilience, and a focus on populism and nationalism. His time in office was marked by significant accomplishments, as well as controversies that continue to shape American politics. Whether admired or criticized, Trump’s leadership style undeniably left a lasting impact on the political landscape, and his influence is likely to remain a point of discussion for years to come.
As per my understanding, the 47th US President has been striving to disseminate message of love and peace. He is expected to embark on his first foreign trip to the Saudi Arabia which is gaining momentum and support among the Muslim communities across the world. President Trump first foreign trip to a Muslim state will definitely yield positive outcomes among the Muslim countries.
