First Lady Jill Biden was blasted Wednesday night after posting a video on X showing dancers tapping around the holiday-decorated White House, whose theme this year is “Magic, Wonder and Joy.”
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the first lady shared the video from the official @FLOTUS account, along with the caption.
“A little magic, wonder and joy brought by the talented tappers of Dorrance Dance, performing their playful rendition of The Nutcracker Suite. Enjoy!” » we read in the message from the first lady.
But social media observers don’t seem to appreciate the musical content.

“The United States of Banana,” one viewer posted.
“Imagine this gives America the Christmas spirit,” wrote another.
“You’re so strange. Weird. Weird,” one said.
One commenter even shared Melania’s video when Donald Trump was in office, saying how she was tasteful, seasonal, loved everyone, and was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful, unlike Biden’s, which, according to them, was “completely cheesy, tasteless and ANTI Christmas”.
“Looks like WH went from cocaine to acid,” one viewer posted, an apparent reference to the discovery of cocaine in the executive mansion earlier this year.
The video was filled with smiling dancers dressed in brightly colored costumes, prancing and tapping everything on the White Housebut many viewers described the video as having nothing close to a Christmas theme.

“I wonder what this costs the taxpayers,” wrote another.
“ABSOLUTE GARBAGE,” said another viewer.
Some questioned whether the video was a joke, adding that it was embarrassing and inappropriate for children.
Other viewers asked how much the video cost and how much it cost taxpayers.
