President Biden marked March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility and drew criticism for the action on Easter Sunday.
Magic of Orlando Star Jonathan Isaac joined the attack on the president, saying on X, formerly Twitter, that the White House “know(s) exactly what they’re doing.”
“They want you to hate! This helps no one and only promotes division,” he wrote. “They know exactly what they are doing. We should be angry, but we should not lose mind of what tomorrow means! Don’t lose your focus. Because He is resurrected, there is hope for all.”

Isaac joined former President Trump, entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and other political commentators in criticizing Biden. Trump’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, called it “appalling and insulting.”
“We call for the failure of Joe Biden’s campaign and the White House apologize to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe that (Sunday) is reserved for one celebration: the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” she said.

Isaac then added context to his message, saying it was “important” that Biden continued to recognize the trans community on the same date, which “frees the administration from the allegation of intentionality.”

Biden Jr., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024 as Transgender Day of Visibility.
