A.ep. Nancy Macé (R-SC) said Democrats are ‘full of it’ for defending the president That of Joe Biden family Wednesday, before Hunter Biden testimony planned as part of the president’s impeachment inquiry.
Mace claimed his Democratic colleagues were mincing their words after the representative. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said the decision to House Republicans The Oversight Committee’s removal of the words “open and transparent” from the impeachment inquiry resolution was “a rather suspicious omission.”

“Oh, they’re so full of them,” Mace said Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo. “They’re mincing their words. The left’s word salad and their serious defense of Joe Biden’s corruption, bribery, money laundering and wire fraud, all of these things we’re going to see unfold .It’s crazy because the media thinks it’s a game, and the left is playing defense, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing unfold.”

Mace’s comment came before Hunter Biden sat for a closed-door deposition before the Oversight Committee. However, young Biden appeared on Capitol Hill to make a statement outside the Capitol but did not meet with the committee.
The president’s son said he would testify before House Republicans in a public place, but not behind closed doors. But public testimony is much shorter than a deposition, Mace pointed out. In a public setting, committee members have only five minutes to question a person, whereas a deposition can take hours and include hundreds of questions.
Hunter Biden’s decision not to comply with the subpoena could lead to a contempt vote by the Republican-led House on the same day it is expected to vote on authorizing his investigation into impeachment against the president.

The younger Biden refused to comply with the subpoena out of fear that Republicans would release parts of the testimony to the public. He denied that his father was involved in his business dealings.
“Their lies have become false facts that too many people believe,” Hunter Biden said, suggesting they fear his public testimony. “What are they afraid of? I’m here, I’m ready.”
