Board member Jean Moulton motioned to approve the surplus resolution seconded by Jon Iverson. With no further questions or comments, the board members voted in favor of the resolution, which was unanimously approved.
While final details have not been discussed or released to the public, there have been discussions outside of the school district and school board about using the former elementary school as a potential solution to address the lack of childcare available in the community. This initiative, if true, could provide much-needed support for local families and help alleviate the “childcare crisis.”
