Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has ruled out running for president in 2028 if he loses the November poll, according to an interview broadcast Sunday.
In response to a question about whether he would run again if he lost, the 78-year-old former president told a US news programme: Full measure: “No, I don’t think so. I think that’s it, that’s it. I don’t see that at all.”
The billionaire, however, said he hoped to have “success” at the polls on election day. November 5th.
Trump is currently neck and neck with the Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harrisincluding in key states that are often the scene of close battles in US elections.

The Democratic Party saw a surge in support after the president stepped down Joe Biden as a candidate in July, after a disastrous debate against Trump.
