Democrat Joe Biden won Arizona and its 11 electoral votes, flipping a critical state that Donald Trump won four years ago. Neither candidate has the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the presidency, with Mr Trump claiming the battlegrounds of Florida, Ohio and Iowa, while Mr Biden took the prizes more modest ones in Minnesota and New Hampshire. The races are too early to call some of the other critical states on the map, including North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
