US election officials have declared the 2020 White House vote “the most secure in American history”, rejecting President Donald Trump’s claims of fraud. “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes or was in any way compromised,” a committee said. They spoke after Mr Trump claimed without evidence that 2.7 million votes in his favour had been “deleted”. He has yet to concede victory to President-elect Joe Biden, Democrat. The outcome of the November 3 election was shown on all major US television networks over the weekend. Mr Biden is now expected to win Arizona, increasing his lead by 11 electoral college votes to a total of 290, with Mr Trump on 217. It is the first time the state has voted Democratic since 1996.
