Just hours after first lady Jill Biden insisted her husband’s age was an “asset” ahead of the 2024 presidential election, the former President Trump released a video mocking President Biden’s advancing years.
The 30-second clip, posted Thursday evening to Instagram and Truth Social, imitates an ad for a nursing home and depicts the White House as one such facility with President Biden81 years old, being its main resident.
Biden’s age has been flagged as a major concern among voters ahead of this year’s elections, given his many slips, falls and gaffes as current commander-in-chief. He is already the oldest person to be elected president, even though Trump is only three and a half years younger.

“At White House Senior Living, our residents feel right at home,” the narrator says as inspirational music plays in the background.
The video shows a zoomed-in photo of the White House before cutting to video of a dazed-looking Biden, looking down with his mouth slightly open.
“Our vibrant facility offers enjoyable activities and outings, 24-hour professional care, and exquisite home-cooked meals,” the narrator says, as a photo of Biden at the beach plays, followed by a clip of Jill Biden helping her husband get dressed. his jacket, while his sunglasses hang loosely on his head.
“Oh, I ate everything that was put in front of me, mostly Italian food,” Biden then says in a clip from a television interview where Jill Biden sits next to him.
“And ice cream,” says his wife Jill Biden, looking and pointing at her husband.
“And ice cream,” the president agrees, “chocolate chip ice cream.”

President Biden’s age has been flagged as a major concern among voters heading into this year’s election, given his numerous slips, falls and gaffes as current commander in chief.
The video ends with Biden tucking into an ice cream cone, then cuts to another shot of the White House with a nursing home sign plastered across the screen.
“White House Senior Living, where residents feel like presidents,” the narrator explains.
In an interview with MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday, the first lady dismissed concerns about her husband’s age.
“I see Joe every day. I see him, you know, traveling across this country. I see his vigor. I see his energy. I see his passion every day,” she said.

An August poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that 77% of American adults, including 69% of Democrats, watched Biden too old to be effective for another four years.
A Monmouth University poll released in October found 48% voters said the same thing about Trump, 77.
