THE Kate Middleton’s photoshop drama reached the White House.
Yesterday, press officer Karine Jean-Pierre spoke on the whole subject. (If you haven’t been following: The Princess of Wales apologized for retouching a family photo, sparking many conspiracy theories).
At a press briefing, Ed O’Keefe, CBS News’ senior political correspondent at the White House, asked: “Does the White House ever digitally alter photos of the president, vice president, First lady or second gentleman before their publication? ” The press room burst into laughter, after which Jean-Pierre replied: “Digitally retouched? Not to my knowledge. I would say no. Why would we digitally retouch photos? You’re talking about… you’re comparing us to what is happening? in the UK? »
O’Keefe then responded, “I’m doing my due diligence to make sure that the leader of another country wouldn’t alter the photos of himself before they were released,” which sparked more laughter from the room . Jean-Pierre, herself laughing, said: “Why does the monarch have to do something with us? No, it’s not something we do here.”

Toward the very end of the briefing, another reporter asked, “I mean, I’m asking that question seriously. I’m curious. Does the president have any thoughts on the controversy surrounding Kate Middleton? Is this something he ‘he follows?’ Do you know if he’s worried about her?
Jean-Pierre responded: “I think when we heard about his condition, we obviously offer him a speedy recovery. I have nothing else to add beyond that. We offer him a speedy recovery. recovery. And I’m just I’ll leave it at that. I don’t have anything else to share. I haven’t spoken to the president about it. But it’s something I can surely say.
