White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany held a press briefing Wednesday, during which she answered questions about a proposed funding bill for the U.S. Postal Service. McEnany said the White House is “open” to supporting the bill, which would provide funding for the U.S. Postal Service, but wants the bill to also provide aid to Americans unemployed due to the coronavirus pandemic. McEnany was also asked about Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.’s company policy that considers political attire, including those from the Trump campaign, unacceptable in the workplace. “Goodyear needs to come out and clarify its policy,” she said. US President Donald Trump posted on Twitter earlier today calling for a boycott of the American company due to this policy.
