In the hit television series “Suits,” the main character Harvey Specter is nicknamed “the closer.” His subordinates make lucrative deals, but Harvey’s mere appearance in a room or a timely phone call always seals the deals. What Harvey sells at a high price is his outsized reputation – the prospect of power and influence.
This appears to have been Joe Biden’s role in the numerous overseas projects that brought in tens of millions of dollars for his son and his family.
The elder Biden adopted a Specter-like modus operandi, according to evidence uncovered by the House impeachment inquiry. It is, Hunter Biden solicited deals with foreign actors by selling access to his powerful father and promises of influence. Joe attended meetings or showed up at dinners with benefactors. Sometimes he would just jump in on a phone call. His presence signified his assent and participation, thus concluding the business.
Huge sums of money immediately flowed into bank accounts controlled by Hunter where payments were routed through a complex network of shell companies. A portion was then distributed to members of the Biden family. In legal terms, the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees portray Joe Biden as a clever co-conspirator who actively aided and abetted influence peddling schemes by helping sell the “Biden brand.”
Hunter associates Devon Archer and Tony Bobulinski have already testified in detail about how the Bidens got rich by marketing their own brand as a powerhouse version of a Nike sports brand in Washington, DC. The first son put it best in a WhatsApp message to his Chinese business partners when he boasted: “The Bidens are the best at doing exactly what (the) president wants.” »
As Harvey Specter liked to say, “It’s not bragging if it’s true.” And the Chinese knew it better than anyone.

In a single deal with Beijing conglomerate CEFC China Energy, the Bidens raised $5 million. The money was transferred only after Hunter sent an urgent missive armed with a thinly veiled threat: “I’m sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made was not kept .” For emphasis, Hunter then added, “I will make sure that between the man sitting next to me and everyone he knows and my ability to hold a grudge forever, you will regret not following my instructions. “
The CEFC transaction is particularly illuminating because it contains coded references to Joe Biden receives a 10 percent reduction in future profits that could have reached hundreds of millions of dollars. Two of Hunter’s former partners confirmed that Joe was “the big guy.” IRS whistleblowers also verified it, although they complained that the Biden Justice Department tried to cover it up.
HUNTER BIDEN WAS PAID $100 KA PER MONTH BY CHINESE COMPANY, EX-ASSOCIATE TESTIMONY
Recently, Bobulinski testified: “The only reason any of these transactions happened… was because Joe Biden was in high office. The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period. Bobulinski explained that the vice president would call or meet with Hunter’s foreign partners “to demonstrate the ‘Biden brand’ to whoever was at that meeting, whether it was the Ukrainians, the Romanians, the Russians, the Colombians , Chinese, whatever. all he had to do. »
It is a crime to use your public office to confer promises of benefits in exchange for money to yourself or your family. This constitutes both bribery (18 USC 201) and a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. It is also a crime under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
Is there compelling evidence that Joe Biden committed acts of corruption under the law? It’s not clear. However, there is compelling evidence, both direct and circumstantial, that points in this direction: documents, photographs, text messages, emails, White House logs and testimony. Collectively, they appear to implicate the elder Biden as complicit in his son’s illicit activities.
IRS whistleblowers have been accumulating evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement, but have told Congress how they were constantly blocked from pursuing the case by the president’s DOJ and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. When Weiss concocted a plea deal for Hunter with blanket immunity, it was the whistleblowers’ explosive testimony that ignited the case.

It is no surprise that James Biden has denied that his brother was ever involved in foreign dealings. But James also swore he was not tied to the aforementioned Chinese trade deal with CEFC. That is, until he was confronted with an agreement he signed proving his participation. Then, suddenly, he contradicted himself and pleaded amnesia. Maybe it’s a family affair.
When Hunter Biden testifies behind closed doors on Wednesday, he will likely block questions with diversions, denials and acute memory problems, as his uncle did. He will almost surely cite his addictions as an excuse for not remembering what he did when he scammed and cheated Russia, Ukraine, China, Romania and Kazakhstan out of millions of dollars. He will insist that he is not a crook, but a poor confused soul.
Or maybe Hunter will invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. Given the nine charges against him in California and three gun-related criminal charges fees in Delaware, the right to remain silent would be the wisest choice. If he does, all his recent shenanigans at the Capitol will become nothing more than a public relations charade.
Regardless, as the presidential election approaches, the Bidens will continue their litany of lies in public by insisting that they did nothing wrong in collecting more than $20 million from U.S. adversaries, as documented by House committees that examined a host of bank transactions, wire transfers. transfers and more than 150 suspicious activity reports filed with the Criminal Division of the Department of the Treasury.
Maybe the Bidens, in their twisted minds, think their self-enrichment schemes were justified.
And maybe that’s what Harvey Specter meant when he joked, “Sometimes the good guys have to do bad things to make the bad guys pay.”
